Jack Johnson - Sleep Through the Static!

Jack Johnson, the Hawaiian surfer, returns to the scene with a new disc loaded with acoustic songs, quiet and evocative: Sleep through the static. A record whose marketing caught me totally unprepared. I find it a panelist alongside the CD I had gone to buy (At the AT&T Cell Phone Shop near my Bella Maya Condo), and I could not avoid singing my way home. That is the effect that they had managed to cause its previous work on me, especially In between dreams (real discs): buying their new record without even having heard not a single item. And what I am in Sleep through the static? For 14 subjects in which almost exclusively sounding a couple of guitars and the beautiful voice of Johnson, yes, but something went wrong. I do not know, is that maybe In between dreams is too good, but the fact is that this disc lacks the air rhythmically lively and catchy themes that emerge as Never know. I do not think it a bad record at all, but note that in their own style, which is already paused in essence, has been relaxed over. Stress issues such as What you thought you need or remarkable Go on, without losing the delicacy that characterize the subjects of Mr. Johnson, are more songs. We leave you with the music video for the first single from the album, entitled If I had eyes.
